Robinson Crusoe Island is an easy day trip destination for travellers staying at any of Fiji's major hotels on Viti Levu. It is 45 minutes by road to Robinson Crusoe's jetty from Denarau or from the Warwick Fiji Resort & Spa. There are scheduled coach and boat transfers for all of the tours operated by the resort (except the Half Day Island Chill)

Half Day Island Chill
Start your day to the island nice and early with a 45-minute calm water jungle cruise. There is a full range of complimentary activities to enjoy such as kayaking, reef, snorkeling and guided cultural activities. Charged activities include jet ski rides, banana boat, sports fishing and massage. The return boat leaves the island at 1:30 so you will have the afternoon free to enjoy other activities or relax at your hotel.

Fiji Culture Day Tour
Experience traditional Fijian cultural traditions in a magical island setting! Start your tour with a 30 minute calm water jungle cruise followed by a spirited welcome by our Robinson Crusoe Island crew. On the island you can take part in a range of cultural activities including weaving demonstrations and the unearthing of the “lovo” earth oven.Along with a thrilling fire walking demonstration, your lunch will be taken out of the Lovo and served buffet style with garden salads, local root crop vegetables, chicken and fish. During lunch, you will be entertained with a Fijian culture dance show featuring Fiji’s best fire & knife dancers. Spend the afternoon relaxing with a massage or swim in our pristine lagoon. Enjoy a coconut climbing demonstration and take part in the Island’s famous hermit crab racing! Our friendly staff will provide you with a day full of fun and engaging cultural experiences that are sure to be the highlight of your trip to Fiji!

Village & Crab Catching Tour
Visit one of Fiji’s most historical sites,Vusama Village, on the Tuva River. Be welcomed into the Chiefly Bure where you will take part in a traditional sevu-sevu (welcome) ceremony. You will have an opportunity to explore the village sites and interact with the local people.After your tour of the village, you will join the crew in a mud crab catching adventure upon your journey to Robinson Crusoe Island. Spend the day relaxing on the island, enjoying activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, swimming and island activities. In the afternoon, our friendly crew will teach you how to cook your mud crab catch from the morning using natural, island sourced ingredients!

After a big “Bula” welcome onto the island, you can join in the sing a long by the beach bonfire while capturing the last moments of the setting sun. During your time on the island you will learn about many of Fiji’s cultural rituals including the unearthing of the “lovo” earth oven and a fire walking demonstration. You will start your day with a short cruise to Vusama village, where you will be able to learn about daily life in a Fijian village. You will then continue your journey to Robinson Crusoe Island while partaking in a mud crab catching adventure.
